Unless you've been living under a rock for the past month, you're quite aware of the viral awareness campaign for ALS, commonly known as Lou Gherig's Disease.
Given Baltimore's love for the Ravens, the fan base is more aware of this disease as a whole due to the unfortunate diagnosis of former Ravens special teams ace (and Super Bowl Champion) O.J. Brigance. The campaign has been a tremendous success, raising over $40 million in the past month with more than 739,000 new donors.
Some Ravens fans have been donating directly to O.J.'s charity, the Brigance Brigade, in addition to www.alsa.org.
Earlier today, Brigance did the unexpected and actually completed the challenge himself with the help of his wife, Chanda. Check out this amazing and inspirational video below:
