The Facts: The Chargers were a lot like the 2012 Ravens in the sense that they won games they should've won and struggled against lesser opponents. This year they should experience a little regression and miss the playoffs.
The Chargers fixed their offensive line to keep Philip Rivers upright and allow him to come back from the slump he experienced in 2011-2012. Ryan Matthews also had a good year in 2013 rushing for a career high 1,255 yards.
The Chargers added to that talented stable that also includes Danny Woodhead by signing Donald Brown from the Colts. The Chargers had a problem in the area of run defense and that'll be a struggling point if they can't fix it, however they improved their secondary by signing Brandon Flowers from the rival Chiefs. Rivers should continue to play at a high level, but the Chargers will struggle against a higher level of competition.
Predicted Record: 7-9. Wins against the Rams ,Jets, Jaguars, Raiders (x2), Chiefs and Dolphins.
