Community mock draft + fan post mock drafts for main site

OK guys, here are two ideas passed onto me that I really like.

1) Let's do a community mock draft. Essentially, everyone signs up for a spot as a team. We can do that below in the comments section. Here's the draft order:

1. Houston Texans
2. St. Louis Rams
3. Jacksonville Jaguars
4. Cleveland Browns
5. Oakland Raiders
6. Atlanta Falcons
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
8. Minnesota Vikings
9. Buffalo Bills
10. Detroit Lions
11. Tennessee Titans
12. New York Giants
13. St. Louis Rams
14. Chicago Bears
15. Pittsburgh Steelers
16. Dallas Cowboys
17. Baltimore Ravens
18. New York Jets
19. Miami Dolphins
20. Arizona Cardinals
21. Green Bay Packers
22. Philadelphia Eagles
23. Kansas City Chiefs
24. Cincinnati Bengals
25. San Diego Chargers
26. Cleveland Browns
27. New Orleans Saints
28. Carolina Panthers
29. New England Patriots
30. San Francisco 49ers
31. Denver Broncos
32. Seattle Seahawks

For teams like the Rams and Browns, just sign up for one spot. In addition, be realistic. Even though the Steelers are the enemy, don't make their pick ludicrous. In the end, it'll look something LIKE THIS and THIS. And each pick will look LIKE THIS.

To reiterate, in the comments section below, pick a spot. I won't be participating, I'll just organize. Once we get the list finalized, I'll create another fan post where we can have the mock draft going in the comments section. From there, I'll copy and paste and post them into the individual mocks for the main page.

Sound all right?

2) Matthew Stevens actually suggested this and I like it. With the draft a month away, if you guys ramp up the Ravens mock drafts here, I'll start promoting them on the main page — one per day. Keep tabs of them and then once we're close, we'll really start paying attention. Think of it as a contest to see which community member can land the most picks — if any — in what appears to be an unpredictable draft.

The opinions posted here are those of the administrator of this blog and his loyal readers. They are in no way official comments from the team, and should not be misconstued as such, even though he thinks he could do just as well or even a better job!
