I've decided that I'm going to make 3 mock drafts this weekend. One where we trade up, 1 where we trade down, and 1 where we stay put.
st round #17: Brandin Cooks, WR, Oregon State. Believe me, I spent so much time thinking about this pick. Most of our huge holes have been filled for the most part. Cooks would be a great underneath WR, while Marlon Brown, Torrey, and Steve Smith play outside.
nd round: Troy Niklas, TE, Notre Dame. Niklas is a great blocker and he can be good in the passing game as well. Owen Daniels only has a 1 year deal.
rd round: Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee. I don't rank prospects, I use other's ratings plus other mock drafts to usually rank. Richardson is rated as a 3rd rounder. He has a potential to be a great RT.
rd round comp: Ed Reynolds, S, Stanford. We need a FS, and Reynolds could come in right away and help us.
th round comp: Chris Davis, CB, Auburn. Davis would be a good #3 CB.
th round comp #2: Brent Urban, DE, Virginia. I'm going to be giving this guy to us in every mock draft until the draft itself unless he rises to the 3rd round or higher. Just love this guy at this pick.
th round comp: Isaiah Crowell, RB, Alabama State. He is a RB with off-field problems. We could use another RB. Justin Forsett is not what I was dreaming of
th round: Max Bullough, LB, Michigan State. He would be a good run-stopping ILB
