Mock Draft FanPost V_2

Round 1- Pick 17: Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan

He is falling down draft boards and would be a steal at 17.

Round 2- Pick 48: Davante Adams, WR, Fresno State 6' 1" 212 .lbs

We will need a successor to steve smith as our possession guy. He has more upside than Jordan Matthews. Good at adjusting to ball and will be a benefit blocking down field.

Round 3- Pick 79: Terrence Brooks, FS, Florida State 5' 11" 198 .lbs

RANGE, adept at baiting QBs into throwing to a covered receiver. One of the few true Free Safeties in this draft. We get a centerfielder with this pick.

Round 3(comp)- Pick 99: CJ Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa 6' 6" 265 .lbs

Big Bodied TE that can block and catch the ball of out the true TE spot. Can never have too many TEs with Kubiaks system.

Round 4(comp)- Pick 134: Terrance West, RB, Towson 5' 9" 225 .lbs

Can wear down defenses, can catch and has had good pass protection skills.

Round 4(Comp)- Pick 138: Shayne Skov, ILB, Stanford 6' 2" 245 .lbs

Great against the run, offers more depth at MLB being able to come in esp in running situations.

Round 5(Comp)- Pick 175: Antoine Exum, CB, Virginia Tech 6' 0" 213 .lbs

I will be elated if this pick comes through, he can matchup against a TE or WR in multiple DB positions. Very physical and very good at tackles. I can already imagine Webb, Smith and Exum in the secondary. He is similar to a cross between webb and smith and fits the defense perfectly. Provides depth at both CB and S. Torn ACL Jan 2013, causing a bad senior year and to fall down draft boards.

Round 6- Pick 194: Brandon Thomas, OG, Clemson 6' 3" 317 .lbs

Was a projected top 50-75 pick before tearing acl in a workout. We need to start thinking about a successor for Yanda even though he has a couple years left. It is never to early to add capable bodies in the mix along the line. He would essentially be redshirted.
