Landshark 52's Ravens Mock Draft 1.0

Using the Mock Draft Simulator at http://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/, here is my first mock draft for our Ravens:

17) Taylor Lewan, OT Michigan

I wanted to reload the Ravens' roster from the inside out beginning and ending with the Offensive line. Lewan would be a great pickup at #17 providing the end piece to complement our retooled line from last season. Flacco and Co. received criticism last year for their lack of production coming off a Super Bowl winning season. Lewan coupled with Marshal Yanda could do some great things on the right side of the ball if the he can convert well to the Right Tackle position.

48) Jace Amaro, TE Texas Tech

Jace Amaro at #48 would certainly present problems for other teams in the middle of the field combined with a healthy Dennis Pitta. Jace Amaro would also give Joe Flacco another receiving target and has the potential to be a Pro Bowl caliber threat with many comparing the Texas Tech prospect to Cowboy legend Jason Witten.

79) Jaylen Watkins, CB Florida

Ravens draft another Florida Gator for the secondary in Jaylen Watkins from Florida. Watkins is an underrated talent measuring 6'0'' at 194 lbs. He could be a serviceable #3 or #4 CB in the NFL and would do well to replace Graham in the slot with Webby and Smith on the outside. Highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXKtwSkiqck

99) Terrance West, RB Towson

Hometown kid Terrance West out of Towson University is a favorite pick in this situation and the RB has been tied to the Ravens and worked out for the team.

134) Cody Latimer, WR Indiana

6'3'' WR Cody Latimer out of Indiana is a taller receiver with a basketball background... Could be very serviceable as a #3 or #4 in the NFL.. Although the Ravens signed veteran Steve Smith, I believe that they will look for a rookie talent in the later rounds as all the top tier talent will be gone.

138) Brent Urban, DE Virginia

Beast... At 6'7'' 295 lbs, Brent Urban is another late round physical specimen that could work in plugging the hole left by Arthur Jones at Defensive End.. Though some fans are awaiting Kapron Lewis-Moore's arrival at the position, one can never have too many big ugly's on the line.

175) Kenny Ladler, S Vanderbilt

Serviceable, late round talent... 6'0 207 lbs.. Big hitting safety with experience playing both FS and SS.. impressive speed and burst to the ball.. lead Vanderbilt's football team with 5 forced fumbles.. The kid is a playmaker and looks impressive for such a late round pick. Highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFSp1zmva-A

194) Russell Bodine, C/OG North Carolina

Another big ugly for the Offensive line.. Bodine can play both Guard and Center and at 6'3'' 310 lbs, he is the kind of player we want protecting Joe.. He brings size and depth to the Offensive line, especially the interior..

What do you all think?
