Draft Predictions.

Hey everyone. Bored at work and was wondering what's everyone's opinion on some risers and fallers in the draft. When we analyze mocks you know we instantly think "that's a reach" or "good value", but are they really? Every year there is someone who no one saw coming and like wise a guy who you think is a sure fire top 20 player only to drop. We love to create big boards and give our opinions, but the past shows that the mock draft world isn't always accurate. Some guys we may all hate are rated highly on actual team boards and vice versa. So I ask again who do you think these mystery players are? Here are some potential candidates from me.

Jimmie Ward FS:

A lot have pegged him as a 2nd rounder, but I will not be shocked for him to creep up in the first. This is a very shallow FS class and Ward has the potential to be the best. He has the speed, range and man cover ability to be an enticing pick for a team needing a center fielder. Size is a knock on him, but if he is used in a center field role it shouldn't be a concern. Won't be shocked if he goes higher than some expect.

Jeremiah Attaochu Pass rusher:

Another guy I love that seems like he gets rated lower than should be. Pass rushing off the edge is a very sought after skill and Attaochu is one of the best at doing that. Explosive first step with ability to bend the edges. I think he can play end or OLB. Some concerns on ability to shed and potentially drop in coverage, but if you draft him he should be used to get after the QB and is one of the best at doing so and I think a team will value that.

Morgan Moses OT:

Seen him in the 2nd round a lot and I think he ends up going round 1. He shut down a number of good pass rushers and has the length and athletic lower half to be a potentially great pass blocker. Some question his run blocking and that he plays too high and not a natural bender, but teams are shelling out lots of money to these qb's and if you can pass protect there will be teams taking a look.

Darqueze Dennard CB: He is a guy who was thought very highly of at the starting process, but reports are coming out that teams may shy away. CB who loves contact and being physical with receivers which is what worries some teams. He may be over aggressive downfield which could lead to some flags and if he does correct that is he the same once highly rated player?Teams question the long speed as well to recover. I still personally like Dennard, but he may be in for a bit of a slide.

Timmy Jernigan DT: He was looked at as a top 15 lock earlier in the process, but may drop as well. When a team drafts a DT early they want a dominant pass rusher who consistently pushes the pocket. There are concerns about Jernigans stamina and that he will be more of a run stuffer than pocket pusher at the next level. Could be a candidate to take a day 2 slide.

Marquis Lee WR: Lee is a guy who's stock is really up in the air.At one point thought of as a top 10 pick, the issue is I think team's are unsure if they are getting the sophomore or Junior Lee. After a dominant Sophomore year where he won the biletnikoff award he had some injuries his junior year and the production dropped and seemed less explosive. Then at the combine some teams were reportedly turned off by his 40 time and believe he is still not healthy. I like Lee and think he could be a bargain if he does drop, but his individual workouts will be super important to teams to try and figure out which Lee they will be getting.

So that is a couple potential Risers and Fallers from me, so what do you guys think?
