Possible low-tier free agent signings

I know Michael Perry is doing his off season forecast, but I'm basically doing another FA forecast. Here are some lower-tier FA's that could fit in well with us.

QB: None

RB: Jonathan Dwyer, Rashard Mendenhall. Both played in Pittsburgh, so I've got to see them. Mendenhall is a really big back who is very hard to bring down. Dwyer is a bit smaller, but he can do that as well. This could really change our fortunes if for one, we got more 3rd and 1s, and two, converting more of those. Others to watch: Peyton Hillis, LeGarrette Blount

WR: Ted Ginn, Danario Alexander. Ginn is a perfect replacement for Jacoby Jones. We had interest in Alexander last off season as well. They both would bring something good to our organization.

TE: Jake Ballard, Tony Scheffler. Ballard would be a good compliment to Pitta. Scheffler has sort of lost his role in Detroit because of Joseph Fauria. He could fit in well with Pitta.

OT: Eric Winston. Like Michael Perry and others have said earlier, Winston's best years came under Kubiak and it might not be a bad idea to try again.

C: Brian De La Puente, J.D Walton. Puente would be a good option to start right away and Walton could possibly be a good C as well.

DL: Johnny Jolly. This could be a good Terrence Cody replacement and provide some solid run-stopping. As long as he doesn't get drug problems again.

LB: Jon Beason. Beason of course wouldn't be considered low tier 4 years ago, but he seems like a shell of his former self right now. He might be a good idea to take a flyer on.

DB: Walter Thurmond, Kendrick Lewis. They are both good, young DB's. Thurmond might be a good idea to be our #3 CB, but me might be too much money. Lewis is a good option to play at FS.

I know all of you might not like this, but I haven't been doing a huge amount of studies on market value. I'm smart enough not to hope we get Jimmy Graham, Brandon Albert, Alex Mack, Donald Butler, Alterraun Verner, and Jairus Byrd. In all honestly, this is my hope for all of my positions as to where we address them.

Power HB: FA, there are enough there.

WR: Draft, I want Jordan Matthews, Allen Robinson, or Marqise Lee.

TE: Draft, Hoping for Fiedorowicz or maybe Troy Niklas in the 3rd.

C/RT: I'm hoping to address one in FA and the other in the draft. Doesn't matter which is which.

DL: Both, I really want Brent Urban in the 5th and get one vet in FA.

LB: Doesn't matter. We might not even need a LB if we resign Daryl Smith.

CB: Probably FA.

S: Either.
