Still plenty of football left.

These last two weeks have been rough for Ravens fans as we have now lost backed to back divisional games and now find ourselves in the bottom of the AFC north. I'm sure many have given up on the season now, but I'm not quite ready to do that. I do think we are at our lowest point of the season and that we will find out what kind of team we really have. While nobody will be very positive right now, we are still right in the hunt for a playoff spot. We are only a .5 game out of the wild card with plenty of football left. This team has shown how good it can be, but needs consistency. I still believe we can play with Pitt and Cincy, but right now we have to work on some things and fight back.

We have a very winnable game even with our secondary issues this week and then we get the bye week. Hopefully a chance to recover and make the adjustments we need to turn this season around. Jimmy should be back after the bye or a game or two after that. Asa will be back later on as well and if we can just scrap together some wins and just get into the playoffs this is still a team that has the potential to make a run. It's not going to be easy, but something that we are capable of doing. Nearly every team hits times like this at some point in the season and it's how the team responds to show what they are really made of. Pitt fans pretty much called it a year after week 3 or 4 and look at them now. Colts started 0-2 and were blown out by Pitt last week. Chargers just got their butts handed to them worse than we did against Miami. We aren't the only ones in a tough spot, but from following this team for so long I have learned not to count them out. When we get backed into a corner we fight our way out and I still put my money on us getting into the playoffs. Don't count us out just yet.
