Could this be the week Deonte Thompson returns?
Wednesday marked the first day the second-year receiver practiced in any capacity with his teammates since spraining his foot in the preseason opener against Tampa Bay. A week ago, Thompson said he was close to returning but that he wasn't able to practice.
Now might be his chance to step back into the Ravens' lineup. With the struggles the receiving corps has endured thus far, it could definitely use another body to work in the rotation.
Another positive sign for Baltimore is seeing rookie defensive tackle Brandon Williams getting some practice reps after dealing with the toe injury since the latter portion of the preseason.
For the Texans, Ed Reed was a limited participant. It appears the Ravens players, some of which are still close with Reed, are expecting their former teammate to play Sunday afternoon. Reed missed Houston's first two games due to his hip injury.
