Ravens D/ST: This is a must-play especially if Andre Johnson is unavailable due to a concussion. The strength of Baltimore's defense is stopping the run, which could limit Arian Foster and Ben Tate. The Ravens' pass rush should make things difficult for Matt Schaub downfield.
RB Ray Rice (if active): You start Rice because he's dangerous against any team, no matter the opponent. His ability to catch passes adds a dimension, especially in close games. However, keep an eye on Rice due to his hip flexor injury.
RB Bernard Pierce: Pierce shouldered the load down the stretch against Cleveland and finished with 59 yards and a touchdown. He could be in line for more carries this week due to Rice's hip flexor injury. However, the Texans have given up just 99.5 rushing yards in two games.
WRs Torrey Smith and Marlon Brown: Smith has been the go-to receiver thus far and Brown has reached the end zone in each of the first two games. That could slow down this week against a top tier defense in Houston. This could become a low scoring game with the Ravens relying on the run late.
QB Joe Flacco: Flacco could be in line for another ugly outing. Houston's defense, especially if Ed Reed is availble to play, won't make things easy for him out there. Though the Texans have surrendered 52 points in two games, the yardage totals have been kept low. In two games, Houston's secondary has only given up 171.5 passing yards per game.
TE Dallas Clark: Against Houston, Chargers tight end Antonio Gates was able to catch two passes for 49 yards. With Brown's emergence in Baltimore, and the deep threat Torrey Smith possesses outside, Clark could see some looks over the middle. Clark should be considered a sleeper in deeper leagues with a PPR component.
