Ravens-Browns Week 2: Baltimore Beatdown's predictions

One of the Baltimore Beatdown writers is predicting a big game from Ray Rice. - Jason Miller

Here's what the Baltimore Beatdown writers predict for Sunday's Ravens-Browns matchup.

Jason Butt: The Ravens ran into a possessed Peyton Manning over a week ago, an ageless quarterback with something to prove after last year's bitter postseason defeat. This week should see the Ravens getting back to normal. The Ravens are back home and get to go against a team not known for its passing abilities. It should allow the defense to focus more on stopping Trent Richardson and the running game, forcing the Browns into being one dimensional. The Ravens offense should be able to do just enough against a young, up-and-coming Browns defense. Ravens win 24-16.

Victor Hensley: The Ravens host their first home game and first divisional game against the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have improved some from last year, but they still seem to be low on the totem pole in the AFC North. The Ravens were routed by the Broncos, 49-27, last week. The motivation from the loss and the talent that the Ravens have will get them the win on Sunday, 35-14.

Zachary Beard: The Baltimore Ravens will look to avenge their week one loss to the Denver Broncos this week against the Cleveland Browns. Expect the Ravens defense to show up in a big way against an anemic Browns offense and hold them to two or fewer touchdowns. The offense will be a lot more reliant on the running game this week with the recent injury to Jacoby Jones, so expect a big game from Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce. I think the Baltimore Ravens will win 24-13.
