Baltimore's left guard got into three skirmishes during Monday's practice.

It's evident Ravens left guard Kelechi Osemele won't back down from anyone.

The second-year product out of Iowa State got into three separate fights during practice on Monday. Afterward, coach John Harbaugh was asked for his thoughts on the his left guard scrumming it up on the practice field.

"I like to see physical play, yes," Harbaugh told reporters after Monday's practice. ... "He seems good. He’s practicing very well. He’s a physical player, and we have high hopes for ‘K.O.’"

The three players Osemele was involved with were defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, inside linebacker Albert McClellan and inside linebacker Josh Bynes. All three are known for their toughness on defense.

As long as no one gets hurt, it would seem Harbaugh doesn't mind.

"I was just disappointed it wasn’t more guys on the defensive side he got into it with," Harbaugh quipped.

At this stage of the preseason, the players are ready to hit somebody other than their teammates. On Sunday, linebacker Daryl Smith said that was such.

"Around this time in training camp, you're just ready to hit somebody," Smith said. "We're going really hard and you really can't lay your teammates out. It'll definitely be a good chance to work off any frustration that we got building up."

Osemele probably felt the same way Smith does. Soon enough, in just three days, the Ravens have that opportunity.
