The Ravens pulled no surprises on Tuesday by announcing that it moved linebacker Jameel McClain and defensive lineman Kapron Lewis-Moore to their respective reserve lists.
McClain opened training camp on the PUP list and Lewis-Moore, who tore his ACL in the BCS National Championship, began the preseason on the NFI designation. Both were moved from active to reserve, meaning they will miss the first six weeks of the regular season and not be counted toward the active roster.
Those two moves trimmed Baltimore's roster from 77 to 75.
Tuesday's announcement came two days after the Ravens announced 12 roster cuts, a signing and an injured reserve placement.
On Sunday, the Ravens terminated veteran tight end Visanthe Shiancoe's contract and waived running back Damien Berry, receiver Rashaad Carter, offensive lineman Jack Cornell, inside linebacker Bryan Hall, offensive lineman Ramon Harewood, cornerback Moe Lee, offensive lineman David Mims, defensive end Will Pericak, receiver Gerrard Sheppard, receiver Tommy Streeter and linebacker Meshak Williams.
For McClain and Lewis-Moore, they will have a three-week grace period to implement back into practice before they are forced back on the 53-man roster, meaning they technically don't have to count toward the active group until after the ninth week of the season.
