The Dream

The Ravens training camp just begun it was hot, coaches were yelling (definitely John Harbaugh), sweat was pouring down the players faces, practice was severe, and Gatorade was like heaven in your mouth. John Harbaugh was looking around at his players as they work hard in the hot sun but just like every training camp coaches look for improvement and the next young star player. During practice there was a young man that was constantly making plays, he was catching the ball like crazy , The Ravens first string defense couldn’t seem to stop him, his hand were like glue, he was so quick, he was smart, and he even got hit in head by a football.

The young man was indeed a wide receiver and his goal was to become the best wide out in the NFL. He look up to Derrick Mason and he wanted to be as good of a route runner as him or better; John Harbaugh didn’t show much attention to this young rookie receiver but there was no way he couldn’t see that this young man played like a Raven. During preseason he made plays after plays after plays and it was unbelievable because it was a slightly chubby receiver making cornerbacks look silly as if it didn’t matter who was covering him.

Once the regular season came this young wide out indeed made the team and John Harbaugh provided a great speech towards his players to get them pumped up for the first regular season game. The young rookie receiver was ready, he was pumped, he was determine, he was handsome, he was proud, he had swagger, and for some reason his jersey felt too tight. The young receiver whom perform so well in training camp, preseason, and even look just as good as Torrey Smith was ready to dominate in his first NFL regular season game. The first game had just begun and the young receiver eyes look focused ,he jump around for the excitement of this game, he was ready maybe more than ready and at the start of this game this young receiver indeed for entire game sat on the bench.

The young receiver watched as the other players made plays on the field but he was still ready, he was still determine, he still felt like he was the best and in end he did get his chance to play in the regular season but by the time he caught the ball to run for a touchdown it was over; Everything was all over because my eyes open then the realization came to me that it was just a dream but if the Ravens ever need a starting receiver to make plays/look hand some while doing it then they should know who to call.
