Michael Oher Unhappy About Marshal Yanda Not Being Included on NFL Top 100

Ravens' RT Michael Oher warming up before the 2011 AFC Championship Game. - Rob Carr

Michael Oher has a few words to say about Marshal Yanda being snubbed from the NFL Top 100.

Marshal Yanda was one of a few notable Ravens that were snubbed on the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2013. Yanda is a 2-time Pro Bowler (2011, 2012) and is arguably the best offensive lineman in the NFL. Not only do I believe that, but another notable Ravens player believes it, as well.

RT Michael Oher voiced his opinion of his teammate not making the list on Twitter, very unhappy:

"Man who votes on the Top 100? I can't Believe Marshal Yanda didn't make it. If the players voted he would have been top 20!!"

It has been said that the players do, in fact, vote on this list. It has been said that only 481 players voted.

"I'm shocked. The guy was easily the most dominant Offensive lineman in the league last year easy!! 1st team All pro but whatever!"

Oher is taking up for his teammate, and an offensive lineman calling another offensive lineman the best in the league doesn't come around often. Oher has the right to be angry, as Yanda was one of the biggest Ravens snubbed from this list, especially since he had one heck-of-a year.

Michael Oher seems to have much respect for Yanda and feels like he deserves a spot on this list.

Only 6 offensive linemen were put on the NFL Top 100, but you would think that Yanda would be one of those 6, since he was dominant last season.

I hope Oher and Yanda both give it their all this upcoming season, to show the NFL that the Ravens' offensive line has the potential and talent to be one of the greatest offensive lines in football. If they want to do this, they have to work hard and give it all they've got, which I don't think will be a problem.

Marshal Yanda deserved a spot on the list, but it's okay that he didn't get it. The Ravens are used to being snubbed on things, not being respected, and not getting the attention they deserve. This event may give Yanda the motivation to work harder so he can be more known around the league and make this list next year.

If it makes you feel any better, Yanda, Ravens Nation appreciates you. Isn't that all that matters?
