Fullback Vonta Leach was more than just a lead blocker during his time here with the Baltimore Ravens. He was also the physical enforcer of the Ravens offense. If a defender got out of line or hit someone after the whistle they would have to answer to Leach.
Now that Leach is no longer a Raven and the team has drafted fullback Kyle Juszczyk out of Harvard will the Ravens depend on Juszczyk to step into the enforcer role? All teams need that tough guy on offense to stand up for the skill position players that can sometimes get pushed around by defenders. The Ravens lost two of their most physically dominant players on offense in Leach and wide receiver Anquan Boldin. Could this cause Baltimore to struggle with their offensive identity?
The Ravens still have some bad boys on the offensive line. Michael Oher and Marshal Yanda are known for having mean streaks and punishing defenders if they get out of line but this team will need someone else to step in and stand up for the offense as well. With any luck Kyle Juszczyk will be that man.
