Grading the Baltimore Ravens Depth Chart

QB: 1, Joe Flacco. 2, Tyrod Taylor. 3, Caleb Hanie. My grade A-. We have a great starter and a good backup. I really like our qb group, except for Hanie. I don't know why baltimore even bothered to sign him.

RB: 1, Ray Rice. 2, Bernard Pierce. 3, Bobby Rainey. 4, Anthony Allen. 5, Damien Berry. My grade A. I'm not sure if that is how the depth chart will look. Either way pierce and rice make it an A.

FB: 1, Vonta Leach. 2, Kyle Juszczyk. My grade A: It would be A with just Vonta Leach. Best FB in the game. Juszczyk is a good pass catcher and could be very good as well.

WR: 1, Torrey Smith. 2, Jacoby Jones. 3, Tandon Doss. 4, Tommy Streeter. 5, Aaron Melette. 6, Laquan Williams. 7, Deonte Thompson. 8, David Reed. My grade C+. This grade will increase if doss or streeter broke out. I'm sure this many will not make the roster. I think reed should be the first to go. I'm expecting doss or streeter to be the 3rd receiver this year.

TE: 1, Dennis Pitta. 2, Ed Dickson. 3, Kyle Juszczyk. My grade B. I expect Baltimore to put pitta as the 3rd receiver and then put dickson at tight end because of their situation at receiver. I like Kyle as a TE and a FB

LT: 1, Bryant Mckinnie. 2, Kelechi Osemele. My grade C. I would probably put it at a B if Mckinnie didn't have work ethic and weight problems. I don't think Osemele would be that good at LT. I like him at guard. I am tired of Oher at left tackle.

LG: 1, Kelechi Osemele. 2, Jah Reid. 3, Ramon Harewood. My grade B+. Osemele looks good at LG and i hope he can stay there for a long time. Reid is a decent backup.

C: 1, Gino Gradkowski. 2, Ryan Jensen. Grade C+: I'm taking a swing at this because I have no idea how good gino is now. Jensen seems like good depth.

RG: 1, Marshal Yanda. 2, Ramon Harewood. Grade A. Yanda is one of the best guards in the league and I feel great with him here.

RT: 1, Michael Oher. 2, Ricky Wagner. My grade B: Oher is decent at right tackle and Wagner could be good there. I'm still holding out hope that Jim Washburn could turn Wagner back into a left tackle.

Defense (I'm not sure who is going where on the d-line)

LDE: 1, Arthur Jones. 2, Marcus Spears. 3, Kapron Lewis-Moore. My grade B. Arthur Jones was good late last season and I think he will be a very solid d-end. I expect Lewis-Moore to be on the IR but I'll just list him.

NT: 1, Haloti Ngata. 2, Brandon Williams. 3, Terrence Cody. My grade A. First, I list ngata as a NT because I heard some mumblings somewhere that that is where he wanted to play. Anything with ngata is an A. Brandon Williams should be a great backup. Terrence Cody isn't that good, but he would be great as a 3rd string.

RDE: 1, Pernell McPhee. 2, Chris Canty. 3, DeAngelo Tyson. My grade B+. Canty and McPhee could be a great 1-2 punch and I really want to see what happens Here

LOLB: 1, Terrell Suggs. 2, John Simon. 3, Michael McAdoo. My grade A. Suggs will be great. Simon I think could be the next Jarret Johnson. McAdoo should be good depth.

MLB: 1, Arthur Brown. 2, Jameel McClain. 3, Rolando McClain. 4, Albert McClellan. My grade B+. Brown should be very good. Jameel and Rolando can stop the run well. McClellan was starting last year. Good talent and depth.

ROLB: 1,Elvis Dumerveil. 2, Courtney Upshaw. 3, Adrian Hamilton. My grade B+: I think Upshaw might actually start and they might put Dumerveil in on passing downs. I just list Dumerveil Higher because he'll probably be the bigger contributor.

CB: 1, Lardarius Webb. 2, Corey Graham. 3, Jimmy Smith. 4, Chykie Brown. 5, Asa Jackson. 6, Chris Johnson. 7, Marc Anthony. My grade B+. Ok I might be handing out a lot of b+s but i think this group is very good but just is not worthy of an A. Webb is very good. Graham and smith are solid. We have very good depth.

FS: 1, Michael Huff. 2, Omar Brown. 3, Emmanuel Cook. My grade B. I think Huff will be worth more of his contract then Ed Reed as huff is still young. I don't think our depth is that good, but I do like Huff.

SS: 1, Matt Elam. 2, James Ihedigbo. 3, Christain Thompson. My Grade A-. I think Elam is better than Bernard Pollard at safety because he can cover really well. Ihedigbo is good depth ant Thompson is pretty good as well

Special Teams

P: 1,Sam Koch. My grade B. He's been a solid punter ever since he's been here.

K: 1, Justin Tucker. My grade A. He was great his rookie year and I hope he only continues to get better.

KR: 1, Jacoby Jones. David Reed, Deonte Thompson, Torrey Smith, Lardarius Webb. My grade A-. I listed everybody who has returned recently. I only give an A- because Jacoby drops a couple and David Reed I don't wanna talk about because of Seattle.

PR: 1, Jacoby Jones. Tandon Doss, LaQuan Williams, Torrey Smith Lardarius Webb. My grade A-. Jacoby is a good returner but again he drops a couple more than he should so that's why its a-.
