Predicting The Ravens 53 Man Roster

QB: Joe Flacco, Tyrod Taylor. Easy here. They have been keeping 2 qbs for years and Flacco hasn't even missed a game so we're set. Total: 2

RB: Ray Rice, Bernard Pierce, Anthony Allen. Again pretty easy. Rice and Pierce are the runners and Allen Is great on ST's

FB: Vonta Leach. Easy here as well. Dont worry about Juszczyk he'll just be listed as a TE. Leach is the best FB and he is durable.

LWR: Torrey Smith, David Reed. Don't get mad at me for putting Reed on. Seattle has just given him a bad reputation, but guess what? He doesn't return anymore and he is great at what he does now in special teams. I had to think a bit before I chose Reed over LaQuan Williams.

RWR: Jacoby Jones, Aaron Mellette. Pretty simple picks. Jones is decent and Mellette hopefully will develop.

Slot WR: Tandon Doss, Tommy Streeter, Deonte Thompson. First I am just listing the 3 main competitors for the WR job, I'm not saying all of these guys would play in the slot (Doss probably would). I like these 3 the most in the competition.

TE: Dennis Pitta, Ed Dickson, Kyle Juszczyk. I am very comfortable knowing we have 3 tight ends like this.

LT: Bryant McKinnie, Roger Gaines. First I'm not saying Gaines is the first backup to McKinnie. If McKinnie got injured, then Osemele would play lt and somebody would step in at guard I'm assuming. I like McKinnie if he can stay motivated.

LG: Kelechi Osemele, Ryan Jensen. I love this group as long as Osemele stays healthy.

C: Gino Gradkowski, A.Q. Shipley. I feel like one of these guys will emerge and will play decently.

RG: Marshal Yanda. I didn't list a backup for a him because I only have 9 O-Lineman and this one needs a backup the least. Jensen or Shipley or whoever could go in if he got injured. Top 3 guard in the game (arguably the best).

RT: Michael Oher, Ricky Wagner. I like Oher at RT. Wagner seems like a decent backup.

Offensive Total: 25

DE: Arthur Jones, Marcus Spears. (Kapron Lewis-Moore goes on PUP) I counted Lewis-Moore not on the roster because he won't be on it to start the year. Jones is good and Spears is good depth.

NT: Haloti Ngata, Brandon WIlliams. I have Cody getting cut this year. Ngata is top 5 D-Linemen and Williams will be good depth.

DT: Chris Canty, DeAngelo Tyson. I really like having Canty and Tyson will be good as a backup.

LOLB: Terrell Suggs, Pernell McPhee, John Simon. Simple great starters, great depth.

MLB: Arthur Brown, Jameel McClain, Albert McClellan. You could ask why I have so many OLB's and so few MLB's. The answer is that Upshaw might play some MLB. Simon could play some MLB. McAdoo could possibly too. McClellan also can play OLB. That leaves the count at 3 pure OLB's, 2 pure MLB's, and 4 OLB-MLB swing guys.

ROLB: Courtney Upshaw, Elvis Dumervil, Michael McAdoo. There are 2 very good players at this position. One for stopping the run and one for pass rushing. Great group.

LCB: Lardarius Webb, Marc Anthony. Great starter. Anthony should be good depth.

RCB: Jimmy Smith, Asa Jackson. I predicted Smith will emerge this year. Jackson hopefully will be a good backup.

Slot CB: Corey Graham, Chykie Brown. Graham did great in the postseason last year. Brown did decent as well.

FS: Michael Huff, Omar Brown (until Thompson comes back. When Thompson returns from his suspension, Brown is cut), Christian Thompson (after suspension). Huff is a fine starter and Thompson hopefully will develop into one of our starting safeties in a couple years.

SS: Matt Elam, James Ihedigbo. Elam seems very good and Ihedigbo will always be a solid backup and special teamer.

Defensive Total: 25

K: Justin Tucker. He is a good kicker now and hopefully he will be good for a long time.

P: Sam Koch. He has been a solid punter for a while now.

LS: Morgan Cox. He hasn't done anything bad so I see no reason to replace him.
