My opinion on our WR battle

I am going to look at each player and guess who will win the roster battle

One prediction I am making is that we will have 2 major contributors, because of Jacoby's role on special teams as well as his spotty history as a 2nd receiver.

Tandon Doss: 6'2" 207 pounds. I have him as the first one who will get his chance, but I'm not sure if he will take advantage of it. I predict he will and he will become our 2nd receiver and get a decent year, such as 600 yards and 4 tds, and it will hopefully increase in the following years.

David Reed: 6' 190 pounds. I just don't believe in this guy like some other people do. I know he signed a contract extension, but I think that was only for returning if Jacoby had to be a big part of the offense. With some others stepping in, he gets cut.

Deonte Thompson: 6' 203 pounds. I don't have him as my other contributor, but I think he is the dark horse in this competition. I really like him. I assume with Torrey Smith and Lardarius Webb being big parts of the team and Webb having an injury problem, Deonte could be another returner.

Laquan Williams: 6' 195 pounds. I don't think he will be a contributor on offense but he is good on special teams IMO so we should keep him.

Aaron Mellette: 6'2" 217 pounds. I like him, but I think he will need to develop for a while. He could be a contributor later on.

Tommy Streeter: 6'5" 220 pounds. Here is my other contributor. I have a feeling he has already become much more polished under our coaching staff. I think he is at worst a good red zone threat for this year. He is just so physically gifted. I loved our pick of him 1 year ago and I think Torrey, Doss, and Streeter, we could have a top 15 receiving core. Imagine Torrey outrunning cornerbacks, Doss putting up Boldin type catches, and Touchdown Tommy jumping over anybody and everybody.
