Quickies on Teo, Rolando, and Matt

Teo

Teo is where he belongs, in the second round. When Minnesota - who desperately need an ILB - wouldn't pick him twice and then traded back up to pass over him again - for a lousy WR no less - that was the big clue that it was not to be the big man's night. Still, I wouldn't mind getting him today, although I'd rather get Minter.

Rolando

McLain has a $700K contract with ZERO guaranteed money, so they can cut him whenever they want. I do agree that he would have made a lot more sense had Lewis, Pollard, Q, and Reed still been around to babysit him. That's the
downside - among several - of Harbaugh getting his wish for a sissy clubhouse that won't confront him or mouth off no matter what. Be careful what you wish for, coach.

Elam

I say great pick. At number 32, no less. First team All-SEC,which means he has played in the best conference in college football, and first team All-American. I think he'll be better than Eric Reid, the safety SF moved up to pick at #19. Big hitter, incredible instincts, fast as hell.

The knock on him is his height at 5-10, but I say who cares? Yeah, once in a while he'll get beaten for a TD because of some super-tall goon freak Addams family Lurch receiver, but generally, positioning and speed count for more than height. Throw in excellent character, and you have yourself an outstanding pick. Yo Oz, you and Da Boyz be Da Man.
