Renowned chef Robert Irvine provides football fans with one of the best wings recipes around, as Super Bowl XLVII fast approaches.

If you're hosting a Super Bowl party this year, you'll certainly need to provide your friends and distinguished guests with the best food and beverages around. Everybody knows a good Super Bowl party needs wings, and we've got you covered with an excellent wing recipe.
Celebrity chef Robert Irvine provided fans with what sounds like a delicious wings recipe -- just in time for the Super Bowl. Irvine contends that wings need to be other tender and crispy, and that the only way to accomplish this is to fry and bake wings, which is exactly what his recipe calls for.
Here's what you'll need for Irvine's recipe:
2 pounds chicken wings
1 tbsp. salt and pepper, equal blend
2 tbsp. grape seed oil
¼ cup hot sauce, Franks
½ pound butter, softened
2 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. celery seed
Once you have all that, you're ready to start preparing your delicious wings.
The first step is pretty simple -- toss the wings in grape seed oil, salt and pepper, and place them on a sheet pan. Then, cook in a preheated, 200° oven for 90 minutes. Easy so far, right?
While the wings are baking, it's time to create your delicious sauce, which we can all agree is the key to good wings. Irvine's sauce recipe is pretty straightforward: blend hot sauce, butter, honey, salt and celery seed until everything is well mixed.
After the 90 minutes are up, remove the wings and let them cool for half an hour. Then, preheat your fryer to 375°, and cook the wings until they look crisp -- which should be about 2-3 minutes.
Next, remove the wings from the fryer, and drain the excess grease. Lastly, add your hot sauce, and viola, you're done.
