The Ravens electric kick returner and wide receiver will be on next season's 'Dancing With The Stars.'
Baltimore Ravens KR/WR Jacoby Jones was the first contestant named that will be on the upcoming season of 'Dancing With The Stars.' According to a story on NFL.com, the rest of the contestants were named earlier today on Good Morning America.' The new season will start on March 18th.
Shortly after the Ravens won Super Bowl XLVIII, Jones appeared on ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' and his touchdown celebrating dancing abilities were the topic of discussion. Kimmel half-jokingly asked Jacoby if he would be interested in being asked to compete on DWTS and his answer was something like, "Does a polar bear poo on the ice?"
If history holds true, as mentioned in the NFL.com story, Jones has a better than average chance of hoisting another championship trophy, as did NFL players Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward and Donald Driver.
Ravens fans loved seeing him dance at the Super Bowl as well as during the team's victory celebration at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium. However, no offense to the hit TV show, but fans would prefer to see him dance once again after the end of Super Bowl 48.
