Anyone pay any attention to any of the crazy theories floating around?
Here are a few examles of the more extreme:

I know these will never happen, but I think we can have some fun speculating how these would effect us in the case that something completely unexpected like this were to happen.
I really want to focus on the flacco to the browns situation.....
Playing devils advocate, maybe this wouldnt be as bad as it seems- you have to wander what Ozzie could do with two extra 1st round picks, one being 6th overall.
We could always sign someone like Alex Smith, who I realize is no Joe, but I think he could lead us back to the Super Bowl with the additional cap space that he could spare us. Im not too sure what his contract would be, but suppose the difference between his contract and Flacco's allows for enough cap space for us to resign Ellerbe, Kruger, Reed, and Mckinnie.
Draft options: Ozzie wants a DT right? Why not Star Lotulolei? Add our original pick at 32, and say we draft a ILB/MLB to pair with Ellerbe.
Moving on to next years draft, assuming the Browns get much better, but they are still the browns... that pick would most likely end up in the middle of the first somewhere and our original one would be at the end obviously. We would again have two 1st rounders to fill any holes.
If our picks pan out, this could result in one incredible defense if healthy, and I would still assume that the offense we retain would still be better than what we had with dilfer and company.
Scenario 2: Draft a Qb in next years draft... Johnny Football? Use the picks we gain to trade up to get someone like him. Assuming he pans out, how would that team, with a talented Qb on a cheap contract compare to what we would have if we sign Flacco for somewhere between 18 and 20 mil per year.
