Former Baltimore Raven and current Seattle Seahawk, Steven Hauschka was placed on injured reserve after he sustained a calf injury acquired in the Seahawks' victory over the Washington Redskins Sunday. Hauschka, who was ran out of Baltimore for his crippling inconsistencies with the Ravens, had a good season going up to this point; connecting on 24 of 27 field goal attempts this season.

It's a shame to see Steven hurt, as it looked as though he was finally finding his niche in the NFL. But the show must go on, and the Seahawks signed veteran kicker, Ryan Longwell who was previously with the Minnesota Vikings. Nevertheless, I wish Steven the best of luck in recovering from this injury (which doesn't really seem to be that bad) and I hope he gets another shot next year.
