Ravens Reasons To Celebrate

Stay connected for news and updates

There was a lot to like in the Baltimore Ravens blowout win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The fact that this happened on Monday Night Football in front of a national television audience, for all the football world to experience the might of the Ravens, was a great statement. It's one thing for people to see the highlights on SportsCenter, it's another to see it unfold live in front of you.

The Ravens sent a message to the rest of the league that always knew how dangerous this team could be if it ever solved its offensive woes. Monday night, they certainly look solved and that scares fans of the other top competitors and the Ravens future opponents, including the Philadelphia Eagles, whom Baltimore plays on the road next Sunday afternoon.

The Ravens made significant changes at the last minute along the offensive line and while run blocking and pass protection was not perfect, it was more than good enough to produce the results you saw on the field. The so-called "youth movement" along the line with Ramon Harewood and Kelechi Osemele starting in place of Bryant McKinnie and Bobbie Williams could be the sign of things to come with these big yet more athletic young guys.

Lots to celebrate and we could probably go position by position on both sides of the ball, including rookie placekicker Justin Tucker, who kicked three field goals along with his five extra points. However, we'll leave the rest of the compliments for you to post below.
