So, Gaither is up to his old tricks again. Its unfortunate to say because he could be one of the better left tackles in the game if he would just put forth the effort. According to Pro Football Talk, Jared has missed most of the preseason due to back spasms, or as I call them, I don't feel like practicing spasms. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/08/09/jared-gaither-still-not-practicing-at-chargers-camp/#comments
He was let go by us because of these phantom back issues, he went to the Chiefs and many of us here at the beatdown thought we had given up on a talented player that could have been a great LT for years to come. Then we saw what happened with the Chiefs, and when they released him mid-season we all blew a sigh of relief. The Chargers picked him up and he played great for them. He stonewalled Suggs when we played them and it started to look like we had made the wrong move. 24.6 million later, of which 13.5 is guarenteed and an 8 million dollar signing bonus and he's up to his old tricks again. What a waste. By the way, I can't wait to play the chargers and see us put Rivers on his back. That is, if Rivers isn't injured by that time.
I want to give my praise and thanks to Harbaugh and the front office for not allowing us to be in the position the Chargers are in right now. In Ozzie We Trust
