Isaac Redman: From Bowie State To Steelers Starter

Due to the injury to starting running back Rashard Mendenhall, it appears that the starter for the regular season is going to be former Bowie State player, Isaac Redman. To go from a little college in Maryland to the NFL is by itself a great accomplishment, but to become a starter on one of the best teams in the league takes it to a whole new level.

Of course, fans of the Baltimore Ravens wish it could have been any other team in the NFL other than their arch rivals in the AFC North. However, Ike, as he is used to being called, will be one of the few Steelers that Ravens fans may quietly root for.

In a story on Sports Radio Interviews, Redman talked about his chances and his goals for 2012, and hopefully they will be slim and none when it comes to the two games his team plays against the Ravens in the regular season.
