Sports Illustrated is breaking down every NFL team based on their offseason of the NFL Draft as well as free agency losses and additions. They then discuss what the team needs to do to maintain or improve their status in comparison to recent success or in some cases, failure.

The Baltimore Ravens have been annual playoff contenders, being the only team in the entire league to make the post season each of the last four years. SI.com is looking att he age of the key stars on the Ravens defense, Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, along with the possibility of RB Ray Rice holding out for a long term contract as the key issues facing the team.

Those, along with the fact that QB Joe Flacco needs to lead the team to the next level, and how consistent the offensive line can be in both protecting him as well as opening huge holes for Rice to dart through, will ultimately decide if the Ravens can stay ahead of the always tough Pittsburgh Steelers and the vastly improved Cincinnati Bengals.
