A story posted by Sports Radio Interviews has Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice discussing his contract situation, his 2008 draft day experience and his quarterback's performance towards the end of the 2011 season. Rice is never one to shy away from the microphone nor stating his opinion whether anyone likes it or not.
Rice sat down with an Atlanta radio station and says he's leaving his contract negotiations to his agent, who he has all the faith in the world in. He said he felt he had the best stats in the country in 2008 and yet was still on the board after the first round of that year's draft ended.
On the topic of Joe Flacco's late-season solid play, Rice had this to say:
"It was his show. It was his show on offense and as much credit that I was getting and as much respect I was getting from defenses, all Joe really had to do is prove that we can drive the ball down the field and score, and he did that."
