Wait a second, you're saying. The Baltimore Ravens open their 2012 regular season on Monday Night Football hosting the Cincinnati Bengals. Not on Sunday Night Football. So what's up with that?

According to the Baltimore Ravens Facebook Page, Lewis will be part of their opening sequence this coming season. Their Facebook post says:

Sunday Night Football on NBC just announced that Ray Lewis will be part of their open this season! We've got (at least) 2 games scheduled on SNF this year: vs. NE & at PIT.

What might be even more impressive is that the posting at this writing has 461 comments, 1,091 shares, and was "Liked" by 19,872 fans.

One of the fan's comments was:

"I'm very excited. Ray Lewis is one of my favorite NFL player. I hope one day I will be able to see him play before he retire. Go Ravens Go!!!"
