When former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward announced that he was retiring after being cut from the team this off-season, not too many Baltimore Ravens fans shed a tear for him knowing they wouldn't be seeing his silly "Cheshire Grin" at least twice every season.
Now it has just been announced that Ward won't exactly be totally out of the way and the league quite yet. NBC has just announced that he will be joining the broadcast crew of "Football Night in America" as an analyst for Sunday Night Football.
Ward will also help out on some collegiate games and the the story on NFL.com says that while the network cites his "opinionated personality," but his fans should not expect him to dance.
