The Baltimore Ravens have the legal right to withhold part or even all of OLB Terrell Suggs' 2012 salary due to his Achilles Tendon injury and subsequent recent surgery. However, there has been no indication that the Ravens have any intention of holding back any of it, and don't expect that to change either.

A story on Pro Football Talk says the Ravens have not made too many Front Office mistakes over the years and don't expect them to make one anytime soon. Not only will the Ravens be paying Suggs in 2012, there is a decent chance that Suggs will actually play in 2012, with the dates being debated depending on whether you listen to doctors or Suggs himself.

When you have the reigning Defensive Player of the Year on your team, you want to do whatever it takes to get him healthy and keep him happy. Paying Suggs will make him happy. Pay the man.
