The Baltimore Ravens have officially signed 20 rookie free agents, ending speculation on other lists that have been posted ever since the 2012 NFL Draft ended late last month. The team released a statement with 19 names but later added a 20th name. All of these players should be on the field this weekend, including Sunday when the media is finally allowed their first glimpses of the team's rookie class.

Noticeable players who seemed to stand out to me in their profiles include safeties Omar Brown (5'11", 195 lbs.), who was a 1st team All-Conference USA standout at Marshall, and Cyhl Quarles (6'3", 210 lbs.), a bigger safety who led his Wake Forest team in tackles (101) in 2011. WR Devin Goda (6'2", 225 lbs.) offers intriguing size and had 75 receptions , 1028 yards and 11 TDs in his final season at Slippery Rock State University.

Running back Bobby Rainey (5'8", 205 lbs.) might remind some of Ravens RB Ray Rice based on size and versatility. Rainey, from Western Kentucky, led the country in rushing attempts and finished with 1,695 rushing yards, 2nd in the nation in 2011. He earned his second consecutive Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player-of-the-Year after rushing for over 1,500 yards in 2010. His 6,906 career all-purpose yards rank 11th in NCAA history.
