Of course, I expect other people to respond to this, but I want to ask Bruce a question about Webb's contract talks. Bruce, I know you have some access to the team, so I am sure you can shed some light on this situation. I read another fan site and its moderator, who claims that he has insider access to the team, say that he has heard the team and Webb are not that far apart in long-term extension talks. A buddy of mine today told me that he heard someone say the same thing on one of the local radio shows, but he can't remember the gentleman's name. Have you heard anything? Is this true? If so, what could be holding the deal up? Even though I, personally, would like to see Webb prove himself over the course of more than one full season, I am sure a lot of us on here would be happy if they reach a long-term deal with one of the up-and-coming CBs in the league.
