How would you feel as a Baltimore Ravens fan if Ray Lewis went to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers? Would you cheer for Ray and would the Steelers fans cheer for him as well? There is a source out there that is saying that recently released Steelers WR Hines Ward would love to resume his NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens.

Ward, who is 36 years old was released by Pittsburgh last week and is just not ready to call it a career. A story on NFL Gridiron Gab quotes a Steelers analyst who says "I think he'd love to play in Baltimore." Steeler Insider Ed Bouchette says on CBS Pittsburgh that Ward will generate interest in some team.

Ward himself has not been quoted saying this and until he does, it's value must be carried with a grain of salt. One would think that the combination of his age and hatred by fans here in Baltimore would preclude their acceptance on the team at this point of his career. While Ward was a solid player in his prime, that time has passed a while back.
