Wow...Harbs is NEVER this candid regarding anything about the players or organization. I didn't hear the interview, but I get the impression the front office is making an all-out effort to retain Grubbs, which, personally, I am all for. I think we have one of the best guard duos in the league, so why not keep them around together for a few more years? This isn't my money or yours, so I guess the team feels they can pay big contracts to two players who play the same position, while still locking up Joe and Rice. Of course, we don't know what "a lot of money" is, but I figure it's near what Yanda received (5yrs/$32mil). If they can somehow work out a contract with Grubbs, that would be sweet. I just hope he wants to stay here as much as Yanda did (he passed up more money from Landover).
