Wagering options include the 40-yard dash, highest vertical jump, bench press and head-to-head results.

I cant wait to see the new Nike Hamstring. Its a patch they are putting on players hammy’s to measure acceleration and hammy tension. It’s supposed to help in conditioning and prevention of pulls as it electronically measures muscle/skin tightness at peak extension and speed. Rich Eisen will wear one. They are pretty cool looking as they have rows of red LCD lights that illuminate with increased intensity as speed is achieved.

Another company is also introducing the TurfSteelToe. It’s cool too. The big toe and the one next to it have their own pocket like a mitten. It’s reinforced with “steel” fibers. The rest of the shoe is made with normal product. The two toes forced together have greater stability and strength. Its in response to the increase in turf toe injuries. A ballet dancer submitted the idea and initial design.
