Keeping Up With The Jones'
Fans of the Baltimore Ravens are familiar with their defensive tackle, Arthur Jones, who was a fifth round draft pick in 2010 out of Syracuse University. Those who follow the Mixed Marshal Arts, know that Art is the older brother of Jon 'Bones' Jones, the UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion. The Ravens defensive tackle credit training with his younger brother as a prime reason why he is in the shape that he is and is able to fight off blockers in the trenches.
However, most people do not realize that there is another Jones brother who is headed into the 2012 NFL Draft in April. Chandler Jones also attended Syracuse and plays defensive end. Jones is rated by NFL Draft Scout as the 7th best DE in this draft class and is projected to be a 2nd round selection, but could go as high as the late-first round. They liken the 6'5", 265 pound Jones to current New York Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul, who was relatively unknown coming out of South Florida but has blossomed into a destructive pass-rushing force.
His senior year, Chandler was named All-Big East First Team, and despite only playing in only seven games due to injury, finished the 2011 season with 34 tackles, including five TFL's, 4.5 sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles. Chandler Jones will be able to display his current talents and future potential to coaches, scouts and the viewing public at the NFL Scouting Combine beginning next week at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Think it would be a Jones family dream to have two brothers on the Baltimore Ravens defensive line?

I read somewhere that he could stand up in the NFL. Is he really worthy of a possible late first round pick?
He won’t go first because he’s had some injuries, but at our 2nd pick he could be worth it. He’s more gifted than Art and there is definitely some upside to him.
On Ed Reed:
"I’ve told him to his face many times, ‘You’re the greatest safety ever to play the game,’"
"We all learn from each other, but we all learn most from him."
- Troy Polamalu
Don't know much about him but Jon is already at the top of his sport and Art has managed to slot into our D-Line rotation quite nicely.
Wouldn’t mind taking a risk on him because his whole family is full of natural athletes with good work ethic but I don’t know if he’s good enough to warrant a high draft pick.
Just finished the Mocking The Draft 7 round Live Draft
Got some great players, only took about 10 hours.

Going to share who you picked?
