Over the course of the last two seasons or so Baltimore Ravens have come to believe that Ed Reed, the Baltimore Ravens' franchise safety, is deteriorating at a break-neck pace. While Ravens fans may believe that Ed Reed has fallen off by a considerable amount, there are still some people who think Ed Reed is still the best of the best (Peyton Manning being one of them). In an interview with Peyton Manning, Peyton thought he hard a Baltimore sports reporter refer to Ed Reed as one of the best safeties in the NFL. Peyton promptly cut the reporter off right then and there and said:

“I was going to correct you,” Manning said. “He is the best safety in the league, and has been really for this past decade.”
