Matt Sullivan

The Ravens start strong and score twice early , then hold on to lead 14-9 at the half.

The Baltimore Ravens scored on their opening possession for the first time all season and then once more, while holding the Cleveland Browns to three field goals and lead 14-9 at the end of the first half. That first drive was virtually perfect and QB Joe Flacco finished the half 10-12 ofr 100 yards and a 100 QB Rating.

Meanwhile, the Ravens defense has not done much to prove they have overcome their woes, allowing Browns RB Trent Richardson to run for over five yards per carry. Their pass rush continues to be virtually non-existent. Without the inconsistency from Cleveland QB Brandon Weeden, the Browns could have been in the lead by now.

Stick with Baltimore Beatdown for the second half 'Open Thread' and then return to join the discussion as the game recap is posted immediately after its conclusion.
