While Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs hopes to return to the NFL playing field by November, Ravens fans can watch him guest star in the two-hour season two premiere of Spike TV’s "Ink Master" Tuesday, October 9 (10 PM – Midnight, ET/PT) . Suggs has a deep appreciation for the art of tattoos and is known for his own body ink, including such bold pieces as the tribal tattoos on his arm.
"Ink Master" is Spike TV’s hit original series which features 16 top tattoo artists from around the country battling it out in permanent ink for a $100,000 grand prize, an editorial feature in Inked magazine and the bragging rights title of ‘Ink Master.’ Each week, the artists compete in various tattoo challenges that not only test the artists’ technical skills, but their on-the-spot creativity, where they must create and execute an original tattoo on a ‘human canvas’ on demand. Each individual artists’ work is critiqued by a panel of judges and each week one contestant is sent home. The masterpieces these artists create will last forever, but so will their mistakes.
Suggs can be seen in the second hour (11 PM – Midnight, ET/PT) of the "Ink Master" premiere where he joins "Ink Master" series host Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction) and renown tattoo artists Chris Nunez ("Miami Ink") and Oliver Peck (Elm Street Tattoo) as a guest judge. In the episode he interacts with the judging panel, the tattoo artists as well as their their human canvases to judge the tattoo artists’ ability to perform a perfect cover-up tattoo.
Fans of Terrell Suggs are invited to join in the conversation that night on Twitter @SpikeTV using the hashtag #InkMaster and can also view clips from the episode at inkmaster.spike.com.
