It's A Great Day To Be A Baltimore Ravens Fan
Seriously, I love this Baltimore Ravens team. They command so much authority over my emotions on a game day. I get so incredibly stoked before the game, the feeling building up until kickoff and then I ride the roller-coaster of good and bad feelings as the team succeeds or fails on a play-by-play basis. I go from loving to hating certain players and coaches on almost every play. I act like a jerk to those around me and am almost better off watching the game by my miserable self. A win and I am in a great mood the rest of the day and pretty much all week. A loss and I am a sad soul, whining and taking it out on everyone around me.
I can't help it. I am a fan.
Please feel free to add your related thoughts in the comments section below. I am relatively confident will be strangely similar to mine,as we all seem to live and die, laugh and cry with this team, which I feel is really onto something special.
It's a great day to be a Baltimore Ravens fan.

My best friend is a Steelers fan
So I’m mostly glad I don’t have to listen to him right now lol.
I love this ravens team :)
Win and they are greatest team ever.
A stupid loss and I want drive up to baltimore and take out the offending Coordinator. have to hide my keys. Sometimes I can not watch the game because the stress would be too much. I love this TEAM. Go Ravens!!!!!
Congrats
Hell of a season. Your team earned the bye and certainly has the talent to go all the way. But I have a feeling that we’ll have yet another postseason Ravens-Steeler showdown, this time in B’more. See you then.

thanks!
and we will almost certainly be meeting again. best rivalry/duo in the entire league. id actually like to see something about the success our teams have had combined for the past 4 years. You guys have the hardware but weve had our fair share of good fortune. I cant imagine any combination of any two (other) teams come close to us.

I don’t think so either. 46 wins a piece over the last four seasons in the regular season (you guys had one less in 08, and one more in 09…same the last two years)
9 total playoff wins between the two
Yeah..nothing like our thing anywhere in the NFL.

What do you guys think
about Ray Rice being crowned OPOY? I think he is more than deserving but its probably out of reach considering there were three quarterbacks this season to throw for over 5,000 yards and thats not even including Aaron Rodgers. But it would be pretty cool if Ray and Sizzle got the spots, it would like 2003!

i really dont
Like Mike Preston. He’s such a hater. Baltimore Sun has worst sports journalists and he’s the worst out of the crop. Seriously writing articles about dumping reed and lewis as we enter the playoffs? He’s such a dumbass.

I agree 100%
He’s also such a Flacco hater. After the second Pitt game, he gave Flacco a B or B-. He never gives him an A and always has something idiotic to say. Yeah, tune the dude out.
He is trying too hard
to market himself as the one lone voice, wanting to rile people up to get his name out there.

The problem I have with Mike Preston is that he is lazy. His modus operandi is to pick a topic he knows will be controversial and write his opinion without doing any research and backing his opinions with facts. He figures it’s good enough if his opinions create controversy since that means readership which translates to job security. He may be fat, but by journalistic standards he is a true lightweight.
The worst part is that he sometimes has a valid opinion even though it may be unpopular. It would be hard to argue that either Ed Reed or Ray Lewis have played up to their standards recently. Granted injuries are a significant factor, but given this, one can validly argue whether the team should make adjustments to compensate.

Congratulations to the Ravens on your division championship. Number 1 in the best division in football (imo). Your team is nasty and has a strong chance of winning it all. Although I hate them for having Ray Rice..
Anyway, yeah..hell of a season so far, congrats!

I think we all saw it after the game against the redskins (preseason).
There’s just something special about this team than years past.
Nail biters all!!!
I have two friends (one a steelers fan and one a coyboys fan) that watch football every sunday with me. I ordered NFL network on satellite so we could watch every game. Kinda sorry I did. I have been a fan of the Baltimore Colts since I can remember (about 7 years old around 1970) and definitely a huge Ravens fan since they came in 1996. I have never been able to watch all the games in all those years on regular tv or cable. This is the first year I watched all 16 games…it nearly killed me! I wasn’t this stressed even in 2000 when we drove to the SB with 11 straight victories! I’m feeling super (pun intended) hyped this year though….even with the stress :) At the beginning of the season (pre-season) I told my steelers fan friend, that we weren’t just going to beat them in the first game…we were going to whip them hard. I felt then, that we had something special. And every day this season, I’ve felt that…even more so now. Our complete power is about to erupt, for the nation to see, in these next 3 games.
Ravens fan for life!
