Super Bowl Commercial Advance Peek
Check out this advance peek at the Volkswagon Super Bowl 46 commercial. What it has to do with the Super Bowl, much less Volkswagon is beyond me, but who cares. Listen closely and you will hear the themed from Star Wars "barked" by the assembled dogs.
The commercial is termed, "The Bark Side," and is the 2012 Volkswagon Game Day Commercial Teaser. Ads are reported to be costing around $3.5 million for a 30-second spot, so this one sets back Volkswagon a cool million.
Other companies taking spots in the Super Bowl include, Go Daddy, Doritos, M&M's, Pepsi, Bridgestone, General Motors, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia Motors, Audi, Dannon Yogurt, Century 21 Real Estate, Teleflora, Mars Incorporated, Coca-Cola and of course, Budweiser (who reportedly purchased nine spots during the game.

The combination of the Dark Side, German engineering, and declarations that “We’re back and better than ever” creeps me out, no matter how cute the dogs.
yeah no kidding
You’d think a company started by Nazis would stay well enough away from Darth Vader references…
I love it knowing that there are a handful of Ravens fans in this area who despise the fact that Joe will be our QB for the next 10 years. --Mr. MaLoR
