Maybe this is just me
Is anyone else looking around at all the major sports sites(ESPN, NFL.com, etc...) and seeing mostly if not all the stories being about how the Giants are looking amazing, how the 49ers are a great story(rightfully so), and how the patriots are going to fare against either the giants or the 49ers. It seems that nobody can be bothered to care that the ravens are also in a championship game and everyone seems to just write off the game as a patriots win. This may just be me seeing less coverage then there is but i do believe the ravens are getting the least amount. Just for clarification i'm only talking about the sites that report on the whole NFL, not an area-specific site(i.e. baltimoresun.com)
In my mind the ravens never really get a lot of respect around the league and it wont happen until Joe Flacco becomes a pro bowl quarterback, because that is all ESPN cares about these days. Nobody talks about how the ravens may make it to the Superbowl again, they just talk about how Brady and the Patriots are "this" much closer to a 5th Superbowl in 11 years. In fact, the only things Ive read about the ravens on ESPN.com is the stuff posed by Jamison Hensley on the AFC north blog, so he has to talk about the ravens.
As you may have noticed(because i just did), this is mostly a rant at ESPN but i just really had to get this off my chest
The opinions posted here are those of the administrator of this blog and his loyal readers. They are in no way official comments from the team, and should not be misconstued as such, even though he thinks he could do just as well or even a better job!

To be honest
Ravens haven’t beat any one yet in the playoffs. Giants beat the Packers, 49rs beat the Saints, and Patriots… well they have Tom Brady, one of the greatest QBs in NFL history.
I’m sure Ravens would get much more respect if they beat Tom Brady. Even with the Ravens D, Brady probably wont make more than one mistake at the most, and will need flacco to play a huge game.
Texans were a hair's breath from beating them. If the Texas pass-game consisted of
more than passes to Andre Johnson and Arian Foster, or a better QB passing to those two, or if that Jacoby Jones play never happened along with that dumb-dumb-dumb interception, the Ravens would almost surely have lost that game. Their offense stunk, and it makes them stink as a team, and that’s why they’re underdogs right now. Last week the Pats D was balling(against Tebow), allowing them to come out of the divisional-round smelling like roses.
It is what it is
They don’t have Brady and Brady doesn’t have their D
“Ifs” are never part of a good argument

The Pats D gave up just 3 less points and it played Tebow and the Broncos.
Name one player on that entire team with the sheer talent of Arian Foster.
The Patseys haven't beat anybody this season either and the fact that refs want to keep Brady fresh for their dates with him after the game to call the game fairly
If the straight Refs in the league get the game Brady’s in trouble
Yeah, that's right
But weren’t everyone talking about the Saints at Packers for the NFC Championship Game? And where are those two teams now?
Yeah,…riiight.
