Ray Lewis' Message To Teammates

PrintBaltimore Ravens LB Ray Lewis is the only current member of the team to have earned a Super Bowl ring, from 2001's Super Bowl 35. He knows what it feels like and wants the rest of his teammates to feel what he has felt and want what he cherishes so much, having experienced the thrill of being on top of the NFL world.
In this short video from NFL.com, he implores his teammates and coaches to follow him and fight for that ring. Ray knows that these type of opportunities don't come along too often, so they need to take advantage of it now. He mentions that "nobody want to deal with us in Baltimore!"
Check it out in the link above and notice how ripped Ray still is at 36 years old and in his 16th NFL season.

Cushing is a younger version of Ray Lewis very fun to watch.

Cushing is a stud. May he be lucky enough to accomplish half of the things Ray has in his career (SB ring, DPoY, SB MVP, etc).

Do you mean, right now, at Cushing’s point in his career compared to when Ray was Cushing’s age he is superior to a SB winning, SB MVP winning, DPOY winning MLB? Because that would be asinine.

YOU might rather have Cushing, but I wouldn’t, and I’m willing to bet most other Balt fans would agree.
It’s like having Peyton in the huddle, he’s the coach, the OC and to QB. Having Ray on the field is like have a coach line up at backer. He sees and knows what’s coming before anyone. He might not be as quick, be he sure as shit knows football better than most pros who step on the field every week.

Thats understandable.
DeMeco Ryans has filled that role for us, but Cushing has stepped up his leadership role this season and was named the team MVP.

I would take Ray Lewis over cushing because not only is lewis a major leader but he's very intelligent to the point he's like quarterback audibling on the field
. Not taking anything away from cushing because he is a good player but like i said I would take Ray Lewis over him unless this is madden 2012

Wait a player 12 years younger Ray Lewis......
is better that this point in their careers? Fine, fair point, though I don’t. However you should compare Cushing to MLBs his age like say………….some guy named Patrick Willis. Comparing to Ray Lewis who is on the downside of his career is pretty weak. Still, Ray Lewis is still have a vey good for a player his age.

I rewatched the game and the Texans played us real tough. Did get a lucky bounce on a fumble for one of their scores. Foster dropped alot of passes which probably won’t happen again. I don’t see anything that would change Sunday besides the players that didn’t play before. AJ without Schaub is not enough IMO. Ravens 24-10.
