Someone in the media asked JJ to guess the young guy he thought would break out this year, and he said #99. All I have been reading is that Kruger is wreaking havoc in practices, notching multiple sacks every day. The team moved him to a more hybrid OLB/DE position, where he feels a lot more comfortable. He should be active for every game, and if we can get any kind of pass rush from him, that's just gravy for our defense. I think one of the reasons why we haven't signed a pass rusher via free agency, besides cap restrictions, is because the coaches feel confident in the guys on our roster, like Kruger, Sergio, and maybe even McPhee. I think the defense will be back with a vengeance this year, and Kruger should play a huge role.
