Apparently Mason is planning a career in standup once he retires.

As I understand it, the context of that statement stemmed from a comparison of the Ravens-Steelers rivalry to the Bulls-Pistons rivalry of the early 90’s. The ass hat host made some sort of snide comment about Flacco being Jordan, and then Mason said that Flacco was our Jordan.

Why do you get to be the Bulls?

They won way more titles than the Pistons.

Flacco = Michael Jordan

Sounds accurate to me.

On Ed Reed:
"I’ve told him to his face many times, ‘You’re the greatest safety ever to play the game,’"
"We all learn from each other, but we all learn most from him."

Flacco = Michael Jordan

Wow, you Steeler’s fans are being really cool all of a sudden. I don’t think he’s THAT good, but if you say so, then that works for me.

I forgot the question mark

But now it’s fixed!

So now you’re asking us? If thats the case, then….yep he is! Big Ben is pretty good too, maybe the Pippen to Joe’s Jordan

He didn’t say he is as good as MJ, he said Flacco is OUR Michael Jordan. IE, he is our leader, our go to guy and a future champion.

I read this same bullshit on the Baltimore Sun with those idiots getting on Mason because they misinterpreted his comments and got all butt hurt about it.

Flacco's first 3 years vs. Brady's, Manning's and Brees' first 3 years

Flacco threw for just 21 fewer passing yards than Brady and tossed four fewer interceptions. Flacco threw for 1,655 more yards than Brees, two more touchdowns and four fewer picks. Manning, who averaged 88 more passes per season, threw for way more yards and touchdowns than Flacco, but also tossed 24 more interceptions.

The host brought up the Jordan-Flacco comparison. The media has really misrepresented this.

Why respond to a bandwagon football fan?

or did everyone just pick up and move out of Pitt?

I'm a bandwagon fan?

I’d love to know how you arrived at that conclusion.

He said Joe is OUR Michael Jordan, not actually Michael Jordan. I wouldn’t expect you Squeeler morons to understand the difference in context.

Squeeler? That's original

And comparing a 3rd year NFL quarterback who is not even top-10 at his position in the minds of a large number of people to Michael Jordan is going to invite a considerable amount of criticism, even if the comparison is not as direct as it has been portrayed in the media.

Again, he wasn’t comparing Joe to Jordan in any way. So please see my previous comment, bandwagoner…
