...Tyrod Taylor, QB, Virginia Tech." The Ravens were expected to be looking for another quarterback as it is believed that last season's backup Marc Bulger, is rumored to be signing with the Arizona Cardinals once free agency opens up.

Taylor (6'1", 217 pounds) is Virginia Tech's all-time leader in wins, yards and passing yards, and was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Year in 2010. Taylor was named MVP of the ACC Championship Game after tossing three TD passes and running for a fourth score. He was one of four NCAA Football Subdivision QB's to rush for over 600 yards and throw 20 touchdowns in 2010, joining Nevada's Colin Kaepernick, Ohio State's Terrell Pryor and Auburn's Cam Newton. In addition, he was on of two active FBS QB's to rush for over 2,000 yards and throw for over 7,000 yards in a career, joining Nevada's Kaepernick.

He ran a 4.55 40-yard dash and is obviously a very athletic quarterback, a bit different from the guy he will be trying to earn a job to back up on the Ravens. However, word is that he may end up being better suited to play wide receiver, returner or running back at the NFL level, although something tells me that Tyrod will have quite a bit to say about that.
