"With the 26th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select...

...nobody! It looks like the Baltimore Ravens did not get their pick in on time and the Kansas City Chiefs already have made their pick. Unless the Ravens have something up their sleeve, it is beginning to look a bit embarrassing for Baltimore. The Chiefs will make their pick at #26, and then the Ravens will pick Jimmy Smith, cornerback, Colorado, with what now will be considered the 27th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

The Ravens get that big, physical corner that they have lacked since Chris McAlister  and he will add toughness to the secondary that was repeatedly outmuscled last year.

More to follow in the team's press conference, but the media room at the Ravens Complex is perplexed by all of this.
